Role Overview: Business Development Representative (BDR)
We're looking for a driven and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our sales team. In this frontline role, you'll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying leads to ensure a healthy and growing sales pipeline.
You are confident on the phone, energized by the challenge of outbound outreach, and skilled at connecting the value of our solutions to real business challenges. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, enjoys collaboration, and is hungry to grow both professionally and personally.
Key Responsibilities
Research and qualify leads to ensure alignment with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
Engage prospects through phone, email, and LinkedIn outreach — cold and warm
Lead initial discovery conversations with a consultative and solutions-oriented approach
Build and manage outbound lead generation campaigns and follow-up sequences
Collaborate closely with the sales and leadership team to support the full sales cycle
Use CRM to track pipeline progress, forecast outcomes, and report on KPIs
Provide feedback to marketing and leadership on lead quality, ICP alignment, and market trends
Support partner and client communication efforts as needed
Execute additional business development tasks as assigned by the Director of Sales
What We're Looking For
2+ years of experience in B2B sales, ideally with a solution sales or consulting-led approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, especially over the phone
A consultative mindset: you understand business needs and map them to tailored software solutions
Experience working with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) and Google Workspace/MS Office
A drive to meet and exceed KPIs — you're results-oriented and highly accountable
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
A proactive, coachable attitude and a hunger to grow in a fast-moving startup environment
